Yes, I got to the end of that section and thought, "Well, I guess that was Caramon standing there." It has been a while since I read the original trilogy.

This issue moreso than any previous issues of this series demands that the reader has read the Chronicles trilogy to understand what's going on. A scene from the novels featuring Raistlin, Caramon, and the Everman is almost randomly included here (in which Caramon isn't even identified by name) which would read like utter nonsense to anyone who hasn't read the novels.
